Permanent Job Title: Support worker within a Children`s home Awake nights
Location: Nottingham
A new Client of ours is looking for experienced support workers for their new children`s residential home. The home looks after young adults ageing from 11 – 18 years. This beautiful home caters for the needs of the young adults living here with needs ranging from social, emotional, communication and behaviour needs. Each young adult has their own care package tailored to their own personal needs. They offer a range of shift patterns as well as pay rates starting from £10.57 – £15.60 per hour so it’s the perfect flexible job.
The shifts will be a mixture of days, late shifts and awake nights, each shift will require you to monitor and check the residents and to complete the care plan checks.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the emotional, therapeutic, behaviours needs
- Daily activities
- 1:1 session
- Helping with daily tasks
- Administering medication
- Assisting with extra curriculum outings
- Housekeeping
- 1:1 care plans
- To be considered for this role you will need:
- Enhanced DBS Child and Adult work force
- Experience of working with young adults and children
- Administering medication training
- EBD training
- The right to work in the UK.
- Mandatory Training
